FilmPhilippines welcomes international productions to a holistic shooting experience in the Philippines. With locations ranging from lush islands to bustling urban landscapes, filming in the PH combines ease of business with English-adept production crews and talent, and now with a new incentive scheme designed to stretch the budget for more possibilities for your projects, whether it’s for full-feature production, post-production, VFX or animation. The FilmPhilippines Office One-Stop Shop Assistance (OSSA) automatically provides for expedited assistance with visas and government permits for production work in the Philippines, as well as casting and other production logistical support when available.

Film Location Incentive Program (FLIP)

Audiovisual content in any genre and format – live action, documentary, animation - including feature films, short films, television series, web content or content for alternative distribution platforms in partnership with a duly- registered Filipino line production company may apply to the FLIP.

International Co-Production Fund (ICOF)

Full feature film in any genre and format - live action, documentary, animation - from any origin country with a co-production agreement with a duly-registered Filipino production company may apply to the ICOF

Eligible formats Audiovisual content including feature films (live-action, documentary, animation), short films,  TV and VOD content (reality shows, series, unit), web content, music videos and virtual reality content. Full feature films (live-action, documentary, animation.)
Eligible applicants A company organized and registered as a business in the Philippines must apply for the FLIP, and said corporation must be a production/post-production services company accredited by the FDCP National Registry who has signed with a foreign production company on a production. A company organized and registered as a business in the Philippines must apply for the ICOF, and said corporation must be a production company accredited by the FDCP National Registry in a co-production with a foreign production company. The project can be initiated by the foreign or the Filipino production company.
Eligible contents Any genre, except for themes that are pornographic, and without portraying the Philippines in a negative way
Eligible requirements Spend at least 8 Million PHP (157, 000 US$) on Qualifying Philippine Production Expenditures. Spend at least 5 Million PHP (98, 000 US$) on Qualifying Philippine Production Expenditures.
Eligible expenses Production (studio, on-set shootings, artist/technician/crew fees, equipment rental, accommodations, food) and/or post-production (animation, visual effect, 3D conversion, editing, music and scoring, sound design, editing and mixing, voice-overs, color grading) expenses spent in the Philippines by the applicant producer from the complete provisional application date until the complete final verification date.
Evaluation The project will be evaluated and selected on the following:
- Degree to which the work promote the Philippine culture and location
- Degree to which the work contributes to the Philippine film industry
- The global quality of the Project

Fund Successful applicants can receive a 20% cash rebate of the QPPE capped at 10 Million PHP (approx. 198, 000$). Successful applicants can receive a grant up to 10 Million PHP (approx. 198, 000$).
Payment To the applicant company within 60 days after the Final Verification. To the applicant company 50% within 60 days after the Provisional Certificate and 50% within 60 days after the Final Verification.
